Liv's Room

A MEMBER BLOGGER: Welcome to Liv’s Room!  You are probably wondering what this Blog is all about.

Well, let me tell it to you straight.  I am a twenty year old with cerebral palsy.  For me, Cerebral palsy means that my brain doesn’t communicate very well with all my muscles.  It’s like my brain speaks English and my legs speak Japanese.  So, I use a power chair and a walker to get around.  In the past twenty years, I have learned a lot.  I have conquered many obstacles like surgery, Botox injections, and many kinds of therapy.  I have also had many social challenges that have shaped who I am today.  I am willing to share all of these experiences with you.  Maybe some of you feel like no one can understand some of the things that you are going through.  Maybe I can!   So this blog is for you.  This is a place for you to feel safe and comfortable and not to be embarrassed to ask questions.  I will answer honestly and if I don’t have an answer, I will be honest about that, too!  I hope that I can help by being a good listener and by sharing some of my experiences with you.  We are not alone!
Can’t wait to hear from you, so use the Contact Us  tab on Palooza’s website to get in touch with me and I will get back to you as fast as I can because I know some of these things can not wait!
